Schrader investing in plant

Schrader Electronics has announced it will expand its Springfield facility in Robertson County. The expansion represents an investment of $10 million and the creation of 76 manufacturing jobs, according to a news release from the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. “Tennessee offers the automotive industry a strong, competitive advantage with its network of suppliers and manufacturers, skilled workforce and central location,” state Commissioner of Economic and Community Development Bill Hagerty said. Schrader is a leading global manufacturer of sensing and valve solutions for automotive and industrial leaders, delivering solutions that protect and perform. Schrader is a pioneer in tire pressure monitoring systems , a vehicle safety feature that is now standard on all cars and light trucks sold in North America and growing in use globally, and is the leading supplier of TPMS sensors, valves, tools and training worldwide.
