Helen Atwill

Helen Louise Atwill, 86, of Fulton, Ky. died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at the Golden Living Center in Union City.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel in Fulton. Interment will be in the Rush Creek Cemetery.

She was the daughter of the late Archie and Mayme Moss Stallins. She was a member of the Cayce Baptist Church, Eastern Star of Fulton, where she served as Deputy Matron and in numerous offices. She was an active member of the Gideon’s and had worked in Union City doing clerical work.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Joseph "Lewis" Atwill of Fulton; one son Joseph Lewis "J. L." (Melanie) Atwill of Fulton; two grandchildren, Camiel Atwill (Mike) Taylor of Martin and Jay Atwill of Fulton; and two great-grandchildren Emma and Nick Taylor, both of Martin.

She was also preceded in death by a half brother Raymond Stallins.
