Bro. Bobby Peal opened our service by leading "The Lily Of the Valley."
Edna Johle taught the adult Sunday school from Philippians 4:6 be careful for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
We sang "Happy Birthday" to Harvey Dildine, Sherry Fisher and Sally Copeland, and "Happy Anniversary" to Shelley and Brad Byars.
Our Valentines potluck dinner will be after the morning service Sunday with a program following. No services in the evening.
Mary led "Holy God We Praise Thy Name" and "I Will Call Upon the Lord." Patsy Baker sang "The Shepherd Of My Valley." Mary sang "Time After Time." Della Freeman sang "Jesus Built A Bridge." Harvey Dildine sang "Remember Me."
Bro. Bobby took his message from II Timothy 4:1 and called it "A Challenge To Keep." Paul encouraged Timothy to preach nothing but the word. Paul thanked God for the hardships he had to go through.
Prayer requests were made and prayed over, as many of the congregation were absent due to illness.
We canceled our evening service due to a problem with the furnace.
