Miss Palmer, Goodman to exchange vows in March

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Bethany Anne Palmer of Martin, formerly of Troy and Lucas Alan Goodman of Hickman, Ky. are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Theresa Calhoun of Troy. She is the granddaughter of Hoyt and Anne Sampson and Betty Calhoun and the late Lloyd Calhoun, all of Troy.
Miss Palmer is a 2003 graduate of Obion County Central High School.
She graduated in 2008 from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she received a bachelor of science degree in education.
She is employed by the Weakley County School System as a health/PE teacher at Westview High School.
The groom-elect is the son of Bart and Sandy Goodman of Hickman. His grandparents are Charles and Ruby Sharp of Fulton, Ky. and the late Bill and Chrysteen Goodman of Hickman.
Goodman is a 2004 graduate of Fulton County High School. He is a 2008 graduate of UTM, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in agrculture with a concentration in agriculture economics. While at UTM, he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
He is employed by Wade Farm Financial Services in Mayfield, Ky. and farms with his father on their family farm.
The couple will exchange vows, March 30, 3 p.m., at Troy United Methodist Church in Troy.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the fellowship hall of the church.
