Miss Palmer to wed Goodman on March 30

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Bethany Anne Palmer of Martin, formerly of Troy, and Lucas Alan Goodman of Hickman, Ky., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Theresa Calhoun of Troy. Her grandparents are Hoyt and Anne Sampson, Betty Calhoun and the late Lloyd Calhoun, all of Troy.
She is a 2003 graduate of Obion County Central High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in education. She is employed by Weakley County School System as a health/physical education teacher and coach at Westview High School in Martin.
The groom-elect is the son of Bart and Sandy Goodman of Hickman. His grandparents are Charles and Ruby Sharp of Fulton and the late Bill and Chrysteen Goodman of Hickman.
He is a 2004 graduate of Fulton County High School in Hickman and a 2008 graduate of UT Martin, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in agriculture with a concentration in agriculture economics. While at UT Martin, he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. He is employed by Wade Farm Financial Services in Mayfield, Ky., and farms full time with his father on their family farm.
The couple will wed 3 p.m. March 30 at Troy United Methodist Church.
A reception will be held immediately following the ceremony in the fellowship hall.
All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
