Pageants scheduled

The ninth annual Miss West Tennessee Woodman of the World Springtime Pageant, sponsored by Lodge 1149, will be March 23 at the old Gleason gymnasium.
This is a qualifying event for the Strawberry pageant and the proceeds are used to help fund scholarships for eligible seniors at Gleason and Dresden high schools.
The entry fee Is $20 and admission is $5 at the door for everyone school age and older. One parent gets in free with paid entry fee. Concessions will be available.
Pageant times include: 3 p.m. for boys and girls younger than 1 years old; 3:30, boys and girls age 1; 4, boys and girls age 2; 4:30, boys and girls age 3; 5, boys and girls ages 4 and 5;  5:30,  boys and girls ages 6 and 7; 6, boys and girls ages 8 and 9; 7, girls ages 10-12; 7.45, girls ages 13-15; and 8:30, girls ages 16 to 21.
