Completed arrangements are being announced for Betty C. Snyder Cagle, 85, of Union City, who died Feb. 11, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City. She was a former resident of Ridgely.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at East View Cemetery, with  George Land and the Rev. Charles Stribling officiating.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Mark Land, Johnny Stanford, Bobby Jimmerson, Thomas Stanford, Thomas Travis and Tommy Stanford.
She was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Iuka, Miss., daughter of the late John and Maude (Berryman) Fitzpatrick. She married Thurman Snyder April 27, 1946. He died July 22, 1979. She then married Griffey Cagle in 1985. He died Dec. 5, 2010.
She had been employed at the former Rainbow Cleaners in Union City and had retired from the former Kinkead Corp., where she worked for more than 20 years. While living in Ridgely, she attended Wynnburg Baptist Church. After moving to Union City, she attended First Assembly of God in Trimble.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thurman and Mary Snyder of Troy; two granddaughters and the spouse of one, Michelle Hogg of Tiptonville and Brittney and Zach Hampton of Dyersburg; two great-grandchildren, Drake Hogg and Braden Crawford, both of Tiptonville; her step-grandson, Randall Cagle of Tiptonville; her step-great-granddaughter, Meri Cagle of Tiptonville; two sisters and her brother-in-law, Bertha Nanney of Woodland Mills and Lee Ella and George Land of Union City; two brothers and sisters-in-law, R.L. and Florence Fitzpatrick of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, and Jerry and Bonnie Fitzpatrick of Springfield, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Lonnie Fitzpatrick; three sisters, Elvie Underwood, Bernice Johnson and Eva Guthrie; and her stepson, Randall Cagle Sr.
