RTA meeting planned

Obion County-Union City Retired Teachers Association will meet Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. at Sassafraz Restaurant in Union City. The program will be conducted by Carolyn Stairs with CARE from South Fulton. The project for the month will be a cash donation to CARE. All recently retired teachers are especially encouraged to attend, a spokesman said, and all retired educators living in Obion County, whether members or not, are invited to attend.
Hostesses will be Doris Milner, Margaret Gray and Sally Ferguson.
Those planning to attend are asked to contact Mary Dunavant at 885-9657, Jetti Huff at 446-1643 or Alice Fennel at 536-5660 by Wednesday.
