93RD BIRTHDAY — Walter Ward of Union City, a resident at Golden Living, recently celebrated his 93rd birthday at the home of his friends, Jamie and Linda Alexander of Hickman, Ky. Twenty-five of his closest friends attended the birthday gala. Ward was a staff sergeant during World War II and played baseball for the former Union City Greyhounds, serving as a pitcher.
