Miss Grossner to wed Ferguson on March 30

The engagement and forthcoming marriage of Heather Elaine Grossner of Troy and Justin Asbury Ferguson of Knoxville, formerly of Fines Creek, N.C., are being announced today.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Linda Lloyd Bradberry of Obion and Fred Grossner of Martin. She is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Bobbye Lloyd of Troy, Mary Catherine Grossner of Collierville and the late Fred H. Grossner Sr. of Arkansas.
She is a 2006 graduate of Obion County Central High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance. While at UT Martin, she was a member of Chi Omega fraternity and served as president of that organization in 2009. She is a third-year law student at the University of Tennessee College of Law. She plans to graduate from the College of Law in May and has accepted an associate position with Egerton, McAfee, Armistead & Davis, P.C., in Knoxville upon graduation.
The groom-elect is the son of Bernard and Brenda Ferguson of Fines Creek and Lorena Smith of Lake Junaluska, N.C. His grandparents are the late Paul and Manella Ferguson of Fines Creek and the late Benjamin and Polly Smith of Waynesville, N.C.
He is a 2001 graduate of Tuscola High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural science with a minor in agricultural economics. He graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree in agricultural economics with a concentration in agribusiness from UT Knoxville in 2006. While at UT Knoxville, he was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and served as vice president of management and operations for the organization. He is employed as a field product specialist for AGCO Corporation, specializing in hay equipment and combines.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. March 30 at Troy First Baptist Church. Music will begin at 4:30.
A reception will follow at The Moffatt Centré in Troy.
