Fair seeking students

Students in grades seven through 12 who attend Obion County or Union City schools and would be interested in being on the Obion County Youth Fair Board may pick up applications at the Obion County Extension Office at 302 South Third St. in Union City
“This is a great opportunity to gain points for the Tennessee Scholars program, a spokesman said. For information, contact Jan Allison at 885-3742.
All applications must be turned in by April 12.
Responsibilities include:
• assist in determining the youth fair rules and activity schedules and planning and conducting youth fair activities, shows and events;
• assist in getting fair facilities ready for shows and events;
• assist judges and show superintendents before and during the fair;
• attend all regular and special meetings and special events of the Youth Fair Board and show committees.
