Ballroom dance lessons available

Community members interested in learning basic ballroom dance techniques are invited to enroll in ballroom dancing at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
The class will be held 6:30-8 p.m. Mondays March 11-April 8 on the main campus.
Fran Robinson, who has 30 years of dance experience, will teach the class.
The five-week course will introduce participants to basic steps in the waltz, swing, foxtrot, rumba and cha-cha. Singles are welcome but are not guaranteed a partner.
Students are required to wear clean tennis shoes during class to protect the dance-room floor.
Registration is $100 per person or $150 per couple.
The course is sponsored by the UT Martin Office of Extended Campus and Online Studies. An exact location for the course will be given upon registration.
