A course on simple home food preservation will be offered 6-8:30 p.m. on Thursdays March 14-28 on the main campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Students will learn water-bath canning and will also learn what preservation method works best for various foods.
The registration fee to attend is $75 per person, plus a $10 supply fee. Children ages 12-16 are free when accompanied with a paying adult.
This course is sponsored by the UT Martin Office of Extended Campus and Online Studies. An exact location for this course will be given upon registration.
