| Skyhawks to play baseball at Elam Stadium in Union City |

The UT Martin baseball team will host Lipscomb University Wednesday, April 2 at L.H. Ladd Field at Elam Stadium in Union City. Action gets under way at 6 p.m.
This will be the third consecutive season the Skyhawks have played in Elam Stadium and the first time the Skyhawks have hosted Lipscomb in Union City.
Admission for the game is $3 per person.
Both UT Martin and Lipscomb were scheduled to play Tuesday night. The Skyhawks are set to play at Arkansas State in Jonesboro, while Lipscomb will host Middle Tennessee State at Dugan Field in Nashville.
The Skyhawks are 0-2 at Elam Stadium with both losses coming against the University of Memphis. The Skyhawks suffered a 5-4 setback in 11 innings in 2006. This past year, the Skyhawks fell 5-3 to Memphis. The game was delayed by rain for more than two hours. |
