All-state — Westview sophomore Amber Rechis has been named to the Tennessee Sports Writers Association All-State Girls’ Basketball Team for Class AA. Rechis, who scored the 1,000th point of her high school career during the Lady Chargers' 21-11 campaign, averaged 20.9 points per game and scored in double digits in all but one game. She averaged 20.2 points per contest in the playoffs and helped WHS to a runner-up finish in the District 13-AA Tournament and a semifinal appearance in the Region 7-AA tourney. Rechis was also named All-District, All-District Tournament and All-Region.
