Street repairs appreciated To The Editor: I want to thank the person or people who were involved in getting the street repaired on North Sixth Street in Union City. I have talked about this for several years to city council members and at the city council meetings. All of the streets have been neglected for several years and now I see other streets have been repaired. These streets should have been repaired several years ago and it would have been less expensive than now and would have saved thousands of tax dollars. I also want to compliment Steve Ladd and his men from the public works department for doing an excellent job removing the old asphalt on this street. They really did work hard.
