Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for Sept. 15-21 at the nursing home.
Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10:30, the group will decorate color sheets. A bead class will be held at 2 p.m. and at 3 the group will work jigsaw puzzles.
Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. A devotional will be held at 10:30. A van venture will be offered at 1:30 p.m. and a Bible reading will be held at 3:30 .
Wednesday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. Card games will be played at 10:30, followed by bingo at 1:30 p.m. Manicures will be given to the residents at 2:30.
Thursday: From 8-11 a.m., beauty shop services will be provided. The movie “Titanic” will be shown, with popcorn served as refreshments, at 1:30 p.m. At 4, the Hilltoppers will play music. At 5, an annual fish fry will be held.
Friday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. Sudoko puzzles will be enjoyed at 10:30. Bingo with covercard will be played at 1:30 p.m. Crossword puzzles will be offered at 3.
Saturday: From 10-11:15 a.m., First Assembly of God will visit and hold services. A Saturday matinee, featuring “The Three Stooges,” will be offered at 1:30 p.m. Coke™ and chips will be served for refreshments.
Sunday: From 10-11:15 a.m., Troy Baptist Church will visit and hold services. Sunday tea time will be held 2 p.m. At 3:30, Exchange Street Church of Christ in Union City will visit and hold services.
