Nursing home plans events

Obion County Nursing Home has announced the following activities for Nov. 3-9 at the nursing home.
Monday: A coffee break will be held at 9:30 a.m. At 10, a Ryman gospel singing DVD will be offered to the residents. A bead class will be held at 1:30 p.m. and a devotional will be held at 3:30.
Tuesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held. A game of Yahtzee™ will be played with the residents at 10. At 1:30 p.m., a movie will be shown, with popcorn served as the refreshment. Card games will be played at 3:30.
Wednesday: At 9:30 a.m., a coffee break will be held and a specialty clothing display will be set up. Bingo will be played at 1:30 p.m. and at 3, a game of Wii bowling will be offered.
Thursday: The beauty shop will be open from 8-11 a.m. At 1:30 p.m., manicures will be given to the residents. Crossword puzzles and Sudoko will be played at 3.
Friday: At 9:30 a.m., coffee break will be held. Current events will be discussed at 10. At 1:30 p.m., bingo will be played. Good Ole Days stories will be told at 3.
Saturday: At 10 a.m., First Assembly of God Church will visit and hold services. Refreshment trays will be offered at 1:30 p.m. At 2, a Saturday matinee featuring “Mrs. Doubtfire” will be shown to the residents.
Sunday: At 10 am., Troy First Baptist Church will visit and hold services. Tea will be served at 2 p.m. and Bible study will begin at 3.
