Faculty recital set for Sunday at UT Martin

Dr. Roberto Mancusi, bass and assistant professor of music and voice, will perform his first faculty recital Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Harriet Fulton Performing Arts Theatre on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Mancusi joined the UT Martin faculty in the fall of 2008.
He has a history of opera roles and solo recitals across the country. He is also an active clinician, adjudicator and author.
Mancusi holds a vocal performance bachelor of music degree from Simpson College, as well as master of music and doctor of musical arts degrees from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.
For this concert, Mancusi will sing music by G.F. Handel, Franz Schubert, Arrigo Boito, Jacques Ibert and the U.S. premier of three songs titled “A Hardy Triptych” by English composer F.L. Dunkin Wedd.
He will be accompanied by Dr. Elaine Harriss, Department of Music interim chair.
The concert will be free and open to the public.
