MCTEACHER NIGHT — Students can assign tasty “homework” to their teachers — and even their principal — Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at McDonald’s at 1108 Marshall Ave. in Union City. Union City Elementary School teachers, including (from left) Laney Rogers, Dawn Taylor, Brittany Kendall and Mallory Powers, and UCES principal Michael Paul Miller will be joining other faculty from the school in taking “assignments” for dinner from their students as a fund-raising effort. Twenty percent of sales from McTeacher’s Night will be donated to the school. The teacher crew engaged in some behind-the-counter “study” Wednesday as they practiced their skills on customers Sareena Jeffery (second from right) and Charity Nance, both of Union City.
