SENIOR CHOICES — Union City Kiwanis Club’s annual Student of the Year banquet ended with the announcement of 12 $500 scholarship recipients and two Students of the Year Tuesday evening. Celebrating the scholarship announcement were (seated from left) Union City High School students Katie Potter, Taylor Perryman and Heather Simpson; Obion County Central High School senior Kara Cox; (standing) Kiwanis Club president Christie Beeler and club treasurer Margaret Moore; OCCHS recipient Emily Williams; UCHS winner Julian Moss; OCCHS scholars Kyle Byassee, Will Miller and Jessica Crackel; and Kiwanians Joe Ward, Randy Thetford and Angie Fitzgerald. Unable to attend were scholarship recipients Jeffrey Alexander from OCCHS and Corey Anne Youree and Sharee Forrest from UCHS.
