A thunderstorm Friday afternoon snapped a tree in the backyard of this home on Rebecca Street in Martin and pulled down a power line. Martin Fire Department personnel attempt to ensure no one was inside of the house at the time. Fortunately, the elderly resident was not home and the structure sustained no damage.
