Lions want to show Peabody that first win was no fluke

Dresden will ride the emotion of last week's victory and try to win consecutive games in a season for the first time since the final pair of contests ending the 2006 campaign. After winning over Greenfield to end a 19-game losing skid, the Lions will have to upend the host Peabody Golden Tide to improve to 2-0 in 2009. Kickoff is set for 7:30 in Trenton. Peabody, which did not play in Week 0, is also coming off a disappointing season in which the Tide finished at 2-8. The Lions should have a size advantage up front against Peabody and will try to again move the ball on the ground after rushing for 231 yards in last week's 34-12 win. Though it came out victorious, Dresden must eliminate mistakes including penalties and turnovers. The Lions were flagged 13 times last week and committed two turnovers.
