The Bank of Gleason is sponsoring a "Player of the Week" Award for the Gleason Bulldog football team, guided by head coach Noah Lampkins (center). For every game, one Bulldog will be chosen as "Player of the Week" for his outstanding play. Each award winner will receive an inscribed football as a memento. After the season opener against Fulton City on Aug. 28, senior Matt Mayo (left) was selected as Player of the Week. Bulldog sophomore Sam Cosby was chosen as Player of the Week against West Carroll on Sept. 4.
