Pumpkin Patch to fund internships



This fall the Interfaith Student Center will sell pumpkins and gourds to fund college internships.
The first shipment of pumpkins is scheduled to arrive at 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17, and the Interfaith Pumpkin Patch will open as soon as the truck is unloaded.
A wide variety of pumpkins, gourds, and Indian corn will be sold to support the intern scholarship program of the Interfaith Student Center. Each semester, at least two intern scholarships are awarded to UTM students based on academic performance, leadership ability and Christian character.
The Interfaith Pumpkin Patch will be open from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. daily Oct. 17-31 and from noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The Interfaith Student Center is a cooperative project of the United Methodist, Roman Catholic, Episcopal, Cumberland Presbyterian, Missionary Baptist, and Presbyterian USA churches.
