UT Martin to host NACEP conference

The Messenger 10.14.09 The University of Tennessee at Martin is slated to host the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships conference at the Memphis Marriott downtown Oct. 25-27. Estimated attendance is expected to be 300. A reception for the members will be held at the National Civil Rights Museum. UT Martin is the only NACEP member university in the state, has participated with NACEP since 2001 and offers the largest university dual enrollment program in the state. UT Martin has been offering dual enrollment classes for home-schooled students in the Memphis area since 2007. NACEP is a professional organization for high schools and universities that fosters and supports rigorous concurrent enrollment (concurrent enrollment is also called dual enrollment or dual credit).
