Drug, case reset for December

Tai Young, 19, was taken into custody Thursday, Oct. 29 after a search by local law enforcement allegedly uncovered a significant amount of cash, drugs and guns.
According to news reports, officers allegedly found approximately two pounds of marijuana on his bed, an SKS semi-automatic rifle, a loaded .22 caliber revovler and bundles of cash inside his apartment.
Young was charged with drug possession with intent to sell, unlawful weapons possession on school property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The UTM student posted a $10,000 bond Oct. 30 and was released form the Weakley County Detention Center.
He is expected to reappear in Weakley County General Sessions Court Dec. 18 for a preliminary hearing.
