To the next level — Westview Lady Charger senior basketball standout Amber Rechis signed her letter of intent on Thursday to continue her hoop career at the collegiate level at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Fla. "She had several options, but they went down there Labor Day weekend to visit. She really liked the campus and has a good relationship with their coach and their players. Their style of play fits what she does — shoot the three," WHS head basketball coach Sean Stephenson said.
