The University of Tennessee at Martin wind ensemble will present its winter concert, “Song and Dance,” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Union City Civic Auditorium.
The ensemble will perform musical selections featuring Franz Bieble’s “Ave Maria,” David Gillingham’s “Be Thou My Vision,” Alfred Reed’s “Armenian Dances” and John Mackey’s “Strange Humors.”
“We hope the community will enjoy a concert of music that we feel is beautiful, energetic, reflective and mysterious.  In short, we have programmed something for everyone,” said Dr. Nola Jones, assistant professor of music and director of bands.
This event is free and open to the public.
