Union City’s city council will meet Tuesday evening in the Municipal Building courtroom at 5:30 p.m. Items on the agenda include consideration of an appropriations ordinance for fiscal year 2009-10 repealing former appropriations ordinance 86-10 and consideration of bids for the demolition of a structure at 209 West Park St.

New business will include an authorization for the building of a firing range, a recommendation from the Insurance Committee for employee insurance coverage, the resignation of Ken Ussery from the Industrial Development Board, an appointment to the Industrial Development Board and action on the county-wide Fire Protection Agreement.

The meeting is open to the public.

Public meetings are regularly held the first and third Tuesdays of each month.
