Hoop Shoot winners — The Dresden Elks Lodge hosted its annual Hoop Shoot competition on Dec. 5 in Dresden. Winners and runners-up in the competition included in the 8-9 girls division first place Alexis Callins and runner-up Rebekah Parnell; in the 8-9 boys division winner Malik Pogue and runner-up Will Lewellen; in the 10-11 girls division winner Callen Killebrew and runner-up Kayla Hayes; in the 10-11 boys division winner Dresser Winn and runner-up Donivan Sawyer; 12-13 girls division winner Asa Woodward and runner-up Carrie Hatchel; and 12-13 boys division winner Dallas Callins and runner-up Kourtney Sawyer.
