Mrs. Wade hosts members of Delphian Review Club

Members of the Delphian Review Club enjoyed their annual Christmas luncheon recently in the beautifully decorated home of Pat Wade.
They were served sparkling holiday cocktails in crystal flutes with cheese straws appetizers upon their arrival. The festive party rooms were filled with traditional arrangements of live greenery, fresh fruit, glowing tapers and pillar candles.
Following a blessing by chaplain Maggie Vaughan, guests were seated in the dining room and in the dining area of the family room for a delicious meal of chicken roulade with mushroom cream apricot sauce, grits and greens casserole, congealed Bing cherry salad and hot rolls. Dessert featured praline carrot cake and red velvet cake.
Betty Smith and Gail Latimer were co-hostesses for the delightful holiday gathering in the Wade home.
