The City of Hickman has closed a section of KY 94/Carroll Street to allow the repair of a leaking gas line.

The closure is between the 12- and 13- mile marker on KY 94 in the downtown area. Passenger vehicles may self-detour via side streets. Truck traffic should detour via appropriate state highways, according to the Kentucky Transportation Department.

The repair is expected to be done by mid-afternoon.
