DSCC begins spring registration

Current Dyersburg State Community College students will have dozens of courses from which to choose next week when the college begins priority registration for spring semester.
Priority registration includes day and evening, as well as online classes. It begin Monday and will continue through Nov. 21.
DSCC is currently accepting applications for admission for the Spring 2008 semester. After being admitted, students not currently enrolled at DSCC can register for spring classes after Nov. 21 online at www.DSCC.edu. The Admissions and Records office will be open to assist new students on Nov. 26. New student orientation will begin Jan. 8 and registration for all students will continue through Jan. 20. Spring classes will begin Jan. 14.
All new students are encouraged to apply for admission and financial aid as early as possible. Applying early increases the chances of receiving financial assistance. For more information about possible financial assistance, call (731) 286-3238.
To assist students with course selections, DSCC has an advising center available on the Dyersburg campus in the new Learning Resource Center. Ad-vising centers are also located at each of the DSCC centers.

About 2,600 students are enrolled at Dyersburg State in various programs. Credits earned at DSCC transfer to all accredited institutions.
