Softball players from first through 12th grades will have a chance to learn new skills and hear tips when the Dyersburg State Community College Lady Eagle softball team hosts its annual camp on Feb. 6.
During the camp, DSCC players and coaches will help participants improve their fundamental skills, mental concentration, attitude and conditioning. The camp includes individual evaluation, lectures, group and individual instruction, strength and conditioning drills and indoor batting cage practice. 
The camp will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 6 in the E.H. Lannom Jr. Gymnasium. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. that morning.
The cost for the camp is $60 per player or $500 per team and includes lunch.
Participants must dress appropriately for outdoor play with a light jacket or sweats and tennis shoes, along with cleats. They must also bring their own bats, gloves and helmets.
