Select VF Outlet stores have joined 4-H in support of local youth in the Paper Clover Campaign, an in-store fundraising effort to benefit state and local 4 H programming and local military programs in communities where a participating VF Outlet store is located.
Beginning Thursday through April 30, shoppers at participating VF Outlet stores will have the opportunity to support local 4-H youth by purchasing paper clovers for just $1 at checkout.  Additionally, customers can participate in the VF Outlet Jeans Trade-in Event and receive 20 percent off of a single item by donating any pair of jeans to a participating VF Outlet store. Local 4-H youth will collect and recycle the donated jeans into new apparel and accessories for local military families. All funds raised through the VF Outlet Paper Clover Campaign and Jeans Trade-in Event will be donated to 4-H, and will support local camps, after-school programs and other 4-H youth development program activities in participating counties.
“We are pleased to have VF Outlet join us in the Paper Clover Campaign,” said Donald T. Floyd Jr., National 4-H Council president and CEO. “It is through the support of companies like VF Outlet that our local 4-H clubs are able to continue thriving, producing America’s next generation of great leaders.”
“One of VF Outlet’s commitments is to invest in the communities that invest in us, and there’s no better way to do that than to support the development and leadership potential of our youth,” said Steve Fritz, president of VF Outlet Inc. “4-H is a richly rooted organization that we’re proud to support.”
4-H is a community of six million young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills. National 4-H Council is the private sector, non-profit partner of 4-H National Headquarters located at the National Institute for Food and Agriculture (NIFA) within USDA. The 4-H programs are implemented by the 109 Land Grant Universities and the Cooperative Extension System through their 3,100 local Extension offices across the country.
