Panthers on the gridiron — The Martin Middle School football team was recognized at the school’s recent athletic banquet. Members of the team singled out for individual recognition for their efforts included (from left) Steven Parron, Most Improved; Ty Brown, Best Defensive Back; Billy Johnson, Panther Award; Jenus Hussey, Hustle Award; Ryan Austin, Best Defensive Lineman; Drew Smith, Head Hunter Award; Seth Coleman, Highest Academic Award; and Nathan Sweatt, Best Offensive Lineman.
