IRIS FESTIVAL CEMETERY WALK – Despite cool and windy weather on Sunday, the annual Cemetery Walk held during the Tennessee Iris Festival in Dresden was a success.  This year, Dresden notables reinacted the lives of county ministers. Jake Bynum and Kate Moore portray Rev. Willie Johnson and his wife Martin Louis Johnson. Johnson was responsible for leading the “boom of Churches of Christ” in Dresden. At Evergreen Church of Christ, he helped build what was then the largest church auditorium in the town. Johnson and his wife are pictured reading letters they received through mission work.
