Several local students were recognized during the 46th annual Honors Day at the University of Tennessee at Martin.
• Thomas H. Hester III, of Martin, recently received the Outstanding Chemistry Major Award.
• Crystal A. Aaronsen, of Martin, recently received the Jim Burdette Memorial Award.
• Kristi A. Mendez, of Dresden, recently received the William H. Baker Scholarship Award.
• Theresa L. Kimmy, of Martin, recently received the Outstanding Visual and Theatre Arts Student Award.
• Lynsey D. Sinclair, of Martin, recently received the Alpha Omicron Pi Mothers’ Club Scholarship Award.
• Lacie A. Trevathan, of Gleason, recently received the Outstanding Educational Studies 4-8 Student Award.
• Ezra F. Nance, of Martin, recently received the Outstanding Freshman Engineering Award.
• Ronald C. Peckham, of Martin, recently received the Literary Award in Short Story.
• Robert H. Mitchell, of Martin, recently received the Martin Lions Club-H.B. Smith Award.
• Molly E. Alexander, of Martin, recently received the Intercollegiate Athletics Student-Athlete Award for Rodeo.
• Christina P. Dilday, of Dresden, recently received the Madeline Hall Pritchett Award.
