UC council to meet

Some items have been added to the agenda for the called meeting planned for Union City’s city council Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the courtroom of the Union City Municipal Building.
There will be consideration of a motion to amend Ordinance 93-11, which deals with the hotel/motel tax receipts; second and final readings of the ordinances regarding the appropriation of amounts from the hotel/motel tax receipts, setting the 2010 tax levy and regarding an appropriations ordinance for the 2010-11 fiscal year; a resolution authorizing a non-competitive purchase of local government ZGUI software upgrade and the 2008 Windows server operating system, including associated hardware for the Administrative and Accounting Department; a resolution authorizing a non-competitive service through Vaughn Electric Co. for the replacement of all automatic filter controllers at the water plant; and recognition of visitors for the purpose of hearing grievances and/or complaints.
