UTM student's death under investigation

The untimely death of a University of Tennessee at Martin student this past weekend has Weakley County Sheriff’s deputies searching for answers.
Sadie Cook, 20, of Gleason, a sophomore marketing major at UT Martin, was found dead at her home this past Sunday.
Inv. Marty Plunk has declined to speculate on a cause of death and reported that a preliminary autopsy found the cause of death as “undetermined.” Toxicology findings are still pending.
Meanwhile, family and friends of Cook are recognizing her sudden passing with a Facebook page memorializing the young student and offering others an opportunity to post remembrances.
UT Martin Chancellor Dr. Tom Rakes issued a statement saying the university community is “deeply saddened” by the loss and extends their thoughts to the Cook family.
