Governor's School deadlines approaching at UT Martin

The deadline to apply for two 2011 Governor’s Schools hosted at the University of Tennessee at Martin is Wednesday. Governor’s School for the Humanities will be June 5-July 2 and successful applicants will be notified the week of Jan. 24. Governor’s School for the Agricultural Sciences is slated for May 29-June 24 and successful applicants will be notified Feb. 15. Governor’s School for the Agricultural Sciences focuses on the importance of agriculture and natural resources to the state and national economy. Emphasis on experiential learning and laboratory exercises related to the agricultural sciences will include production agriculture, agricultural business enterprises and natural resources management.
