UC council to meet

The Union City city council will meet Tuesday evening at 5:30 in the courtroom of the Union City Municipal Building.
There will be consideration of a bid selection for farm lease and a bid selection for walking track construction; authorization to enter into a contract for animal shelter facilities and services with The Animal Adoption Center of Union City Inc.; authorization to enter into a lease agreement with The Animal Adoption Center of Union City Inc.; authorization to solicit bids for the sale of Lot 32 of the E.W. Richmond Subdivision; authorization to loan Rives Fire Department the Union City Fire Department’s pumper truck on a short term basis; a resolution to authorize the renewal of land purchase capital outlay notes (not to exceed $2,440,000); the review of bills; miscellaneous business; and the recognition of visitors to hear grievances and/or complaints.
