Quickbooks courses offered

Basic and intermediate QuickBooks courses are being offered this spring through the University of Tennessee at Martin Small Business Development Center and the Regional Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Center.
QuickBooks is an accounting software for small businesses.
The course fee is $75 and needs to be paid at time of registration. The instructor is Elizabeth Tribble, QuickBooks certified pro-advisor.
The QuickBooks basic training course will be offered from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday. Participants will learn how to properly set up and run QuickBooks. Topics include accounting basics, setting up the business accounts, working with bank accounts, recording sales and receiving payments and entering and paying vendor bills.
The QuickBooks intermediate training course woll be offered from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. May 5. Participants will learn how to customize the program. Topics include setting preferences, doing payroll, paying payroll taxes, setting up inventory, tracking and paying sales tax, creating estimates and tracking time and creating reports and understanding financial data.
