Jax. State grid boss getting an extension JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Jacksonville State has extended the contract of head football coach Jack Crowe through the 2014 season. Crowe’s base salary will be $162,000 per year and includes incentives if he wins the Ohio Valley Conference Championship and the FCS National Championship. Crowe, who begins his 12th season leading Jax State, has guided the Gamecocks to eight consecutive winning seasons. The Gamecocks enter the 2011 season preseason ranked in the football polls for 30 consecutive weeks, which is the longest such stretch in the school’s 108-year football history. Dyer Co. softball C will play at Bethel Dyer County High School softball standout Catcher Caitlin Runions has signed with the Bethel University softball program.
