Union City student Derek Lewis was awarded a bachelor of science degree from Lipscomb University in Nashville at the conclusion of the recent summer semester.
Lewis, an Obion County Central High School graduate, studied exercise science and completed all the credits necessary to graduate cum laude.
August graduates either already participated in the May graduation ceremony or will be eligible to participate in the December graduation ceremony at Lipscomb University.
