A Union City man received possible injury after an accident Friday.
According to a report at the Union City Police Department, Danie Joe Shoulders, 21, of 419 Madie St., Ridgely, was traveling north on Valley Drive in the 2100 block when he stopped and began to back up because he said he thought he had turned on the wrong road.
Shoulders said he did not see the vehicle behind him being driven by Billy F. Smith, 67, of 2108 Valley Drive. The collision caused the air bag of Smith’s vehicle to deploy, which left a burn and scratches to his arm. Smith did not seek medical treatment at the time of the accident.
Shoulders was charged with a moving violation for limitations on backing.
