Author to hold book signing

Mike Mollenhour, a 1973 University of Tennessee at Martin graduate, has recently written his first novel, “Arcturus,” and will have a book signing from 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 7 in Paul Meek Library lobby on the UT Martin campus.
Mollenhour was raised in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School in 1969. After graduating from UT Martin in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in history, he attended the U.S. Army’s Ranger School at Fort Benning, Ga. He was then assigned to the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky.
At Fort Campbell, he was assigned to the 1st Battalion of the 506th Infantry regiment, made popular by the series, “Band of Brothers.” He later attended graduate school and law school at UT.
Mollenhour currently works as a lawyer in Knoxville. He is married and has four children.
