KNOXVILLE (AP) — For the second day in a row, a University of Tennessee dormitory had to be evacuated because of a fire.
A university spokesman says a fire set on a bulletin board on the third floor of Humes Hall on Tuesday morning filled the dorm with smoke but was quickly extinguished.
There were no serious injuries reported, but three people were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Knoxville Fire Captain Brent Seymour says arson investigators have been called to the scene.
A fire Monday in a fifth-floor lounge also forced the evacuation of the building. There were no serious injuries reported.
The female dorm has capacity for 518 students.
