A Union City man was charged with a marijuana-related drug offense early Sunday at the parking lot of a local establishment.
Timothy Edward Wilson, 21, of 232 South Fourth St., Union City, was arrested at 1:36 a.m. Sunday at Shenanigan’s at 2227 Phebus Lane and charged with simple possession, according to a Union City Police Department report.
The charge was levied by a police investigator who was patrolling the lot. The officer reported he observed Wilson standing next to an unoccupied vehicle. He allegedly ducked around in front of another vehicle parked next to where he was seen and appeared to have something in his hand. In front of the other vehicle, the officer reported he found a “blunt” wrapper.
According to the report, during a search the investigator located a Crown Royal bag with a small baggy with 3.9 grams of marijuana in Wilson’s back pocket.
